Kidney transplant packages differ in several aspects:

1. Type of hospital
2. surgeons
3. Type of hotel
4. Post-operative medications: In economy and premium packages, post-operative medications are the patient's responsibility, while in VIP packages, these medications are provided to the patient free of charge.

Costs in Iran are lower than in Turkey due to the low value of the Iranian Rial against the US Dollar. The quality of Iranian hospitals and surgeons is significantly higher than in Turkey, but due to the country's political problems with the United States, the value of its national currency against the dollar is very low, causing the package prices to be cheaper as well.

Following surgery, you'll remain in the hospital for approximately 10 days for observation and post-operative care.

Return to Home Country

In most cases (90%), patients can return to their home country after this initial period. Follow-up tests will be scheduled approximately one and three months after surgery, which can be conducted in your home country. The results of these tests should be sent to us for evaluation.

Extended Stay

In 10% of cases, depending on your individual condition, a longer stay in the country may be necessary for additional tests. If this is the case, we will provide complimentary accommodations.

Compatibility Blood Test:

Other tests in the donor evaluation include:

1. Blood tests to evaluate the function of the heart, kidneys, liver, thyroid, and immune system
2. Chest X-ray
3. Echocardiogram
4. Electrocardiogram
5. Cardiac stress test
6. Cancer screening
7. Colonoscopy
8. Gynecological examination
9. Prostate exam
10. Dental evaluation

The laboratory tests are done at least 7-10 days prior to the procedure. The particular tests are prescribed after a complete physical evaluation of the patient.

If the kidney transplant is performed in Iran, pre-operative tests for both the patient and the donor begin on the second day after the patient's arrival. After approximately 10 days, when the test results are ready, the kidney transplant surgery is immediately performed. Following the surgery, the patient remains hospitalized for about 7 to 10 days before being discharged. The total duration of the procedure in Iran is approximately 20 days from the date of the patient's arrival.

If the kidney transplant is performed in Turkey, the process takes longer due to the requirement of obtaining approval from the ethics committee, which meets twice a month. Therefore, about 1 to 2 weeks is added to the standard 20-day procedure time. Consequently, the total duration of the procedure in Turkey, including the ethics committee approval process, is approximately 25 to 35 days from the date of the patient's arrival.

A patient can have as many companions as they wish, however, the package prices only include the cost of a hotel room for one companion. If the patient has more than one companion, they will need to pay for the hotel costs of the additional companions separately. Regarding meals, only breakfast, which is provided complimentary at the hotel, is included in the package prices. The patient is responsible for the costs of lunch and dinner.

If a patient requires dialysis during their stay in the country prior to the kidney transplant, dialysis sessions will be provided free of charge as needed.

A patient can meet with the donor who has been selected for them and who is suitable for kidney donation. However, the patient cannot reject the donor or make a personal choice in this matter. Although we have more than 10,000 kidney donors from around the world, the selection of a suitable donor for a patient is based on medical criteria such as HLA matching, age, and others. It is not related to the donor's appearance or nationality. Therefore, the patient cannot make a choice in this regard. However, from among two or more kidney donors who all have the same conditions for donating a kidney to a patient, VIP package patients can meet with all of these donors and select the donor they prefer.

Payment Schedule

Initial Deposit (10%): Upon arrival and signing the contract.
Second Deposit (20%): After donor identification and pre-surgery preparations.
Third Deposit (50%): Before hospital admission for surgery.
Final Payment (20%): After surgery and before discharge.

Alternative Payment Option:

If you prefer to pay the full amount after the surgery, you can provide a bank guarantee to secure the payment. This guarantee must be submitted upon signing the contract. We will collect the guarantee after the successful completion of the surgery.
